A few words from Mary Ann Evans Hospice

The Mary Ann Evans Hospice are delighted to have been chosen as the local Charity for the BADGERS Atherstone 10K in 2017.

The hospice provides exceptional levels of care and support to patients and their families in Atherstone, Coleshill, Nuneaton, Bedworth, North Warwickshire and surrounding villages through their Day Hospice, Hospice at Home, Lymphoedema and Bereavement services.

All care given by the Mary Ann Evans Hospice is delivered free of charge, although it is not free to provide. The hospice only receives 30% of their running costs from Government funding. The shortfall in funding means we need to raise £2,500 EVERY DAY in voluntary contributions in order to continue our care.

The generous support of our local community and the relationships we develop with organisations and events such as the BADGERS Atherstone 10K ensure that we can continue to provide these exceptional care services to residents in local areas during their time of need.

We are looking forward to developing our relationship with the BADGERS and working alongside them on their fantastic 10K.
